The Sakarya Gas Field is located approximately 170 km offshore in the western Black Sea, in water depths of 2,000 meters. Discovered in 2020, it is Türkiye’s first deepwater gas field and a critical component of the country’s energy strategy. Phase II follows the successful delivery of Phase I and focuses on increasing production through additional wells, expanded subsea infrastructure, and enhanced capacity at the Filyos onshore gas processing facility.
The development includes the installation of additional subsea production manifolds, flowlines, dynamic umbilicals, and risers, all tied back to the CPF. The project also includes major offshore campaigns for laying pipelines and connecting new subsea assets, supported by international fabrication and supply chains.
