The Maria Quitéria field is part of the broader pre-salt cluster development strategy in the Santos Basin, approximately 200 km offshore Brazil in water depths of around 2,000 meters. The FPSO Maria Quitéria will have a production capacity of approximately 100,000 barrels of oil per day and will be equipped to process associated gas and reinject CO₂, in line with Petrobras’ low-carbon strategy.
The field development involves subsea wells, flexible risers, umbilicals, and tie-ins to the FPSO. The FPSO is being converted and integrated at international yards before final commissioning and deployment offshore Brazil.
