The Baleine field is located in Block CI-101 and CI-802 offshore Côte d’Ivoire, in water depths ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 meters. Following the successful execution of Phase I, Phase II focuses on ramping up production through the drilling of new wells and installation of additional subsea infrastructure. This phase also includes the conversion and deployment of a larger FPSO with enhanced processing capacity.
Baleine is recognized as Africa’s first net-zero emissions development, integrating carbon capture, environmental monitoring, and low-emission operations throughout its lifecycle. The project plays a critical role in regional energy security and economic development.
