Congo’s Largest Offshore Oil Development
Located 75 km off the Congolese coast in water depths of 750 to 1,200 meters, the Moho Nord field has been producing oil since 2017 and accounts for over half of the country’s total output.
Operated by TotalEnergies (53.5%), in partnership with Chevron (31.5%) and Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo (15%), the project represents a critical piece of the region’s energy infrastructure.
